registration procedures

H. E. Beriault Catholic Junior High School is the feeder school for Oscar Romero High School, so students attending H.E.B. in grade 9 will be automatically accepted into Oscar Romero for their high school years.

Procedures for registration at H. E. Beriault School

GRADE 7 STUDENTS FROM H. E. BERIAULT SCHOOL'S FEEDER SCHOOLS:
(Good Shepherd, Our Lady of the Prairies, Our Lady of Victories, St. Justin, & St. Martha)

  • Registration forms have been sent home by grade 6 teachers.

  • We encourage you to pre-register before April 10th, as the number of students registered at this point will determine our staffing for the next school year.

  • Please do not register at more than one Junior High.  If you are not sure where you want to register, wait until you have made your choice before submitting a registration form.

  • To register, simply fill in all the information on the registration form, attach a copy of your child’s birth certificate, and submit both to the secretary of your home school.  Also indicate whether or not your child will be taking the Yellow School bus or ETS.  Your secretary will forward all forms to H. E. Beriault Catholic Junior High.

  • Once your registration has been processed, you will receive a confirmation letter letting you know all the important dates you need to be aware of.  This confirmation letter should arrive sometime in May.

GRADE 7 CATHOLIC STUDENTS NOT FROM H.E. BERIAULT SCHOOL'S FEEDER SCHOOLS:

  • Registration forms accompanied by the latest report card and birth certificate can be dropped off at the school office.  Parents will be contacted once the registration form and all documentation have been submitted and a meeting with school administration may be arranged.

GRADE 7 STUDENTS FROM OUTSIDE SCHOOL DISTRICT:

Parents are asked to complete information sheets with details of:

  • What area they are in

  • Special programs the child needs

  • Current school contact

Parents are asked to provide:

  • Birth certificate

  • Baptism certificate

  • Legal guardianship document, if applicable

  • Current report card

An appointment will be set up by School Administration to discuss the registration application.

GRADE 8 & 9 STUDENTS:

If you have recently moved into our area, you must submit a registration form and a copy of your child’s latest report card, baptismal certificate and birth certificate to the school office.

If you have not moved but are considering a transfer to H. E. Beriault School, you must make an appointment with the Principal of the Junior High School your child is currently attending to discuss the possibility of registering your child at H. E. Beriault.

The home school principal will contact H. E. Beriault Administration to let them know the student has shown an interest in attending H. E. Beriault.

A contact will be made to you by H. E. Beriault Administration to discuss registration.
